PPL Team Favourites: Our Go-To Bags for the Season

As we know, sometimes it can be a challenge to choose a shade when they’re not right in front of you, so we thought we would point the spotlight on the people who can see them all! We launched a full investigation in the office to find out which bags everyone is currently eyeing up, their preferred styling and which strap they would wear it with. Here is your insider sneak peek into PPL HQ and a chance to steal some styling inspiration from the team. 

Estelle:

‘The bag I can’t wait to get my hands on is the Mint Green Bum Bag, which I would match with the Mint Green Moroccan strap. This I’d love to pair with cream jeans, a long sleeve white tee, cream knitted vest and clogs.’

Casey:

‘I would choose the Oatmeal Original and pair it with blue jeans, a white t-Shirt and an oversized blazer! I’d pick the Oatmeal Woven and the Oatmeal and Grey Mosaic strap to create an effortless, smart-casual look.’

Claire:

‘I would opt for the Coral Pink Original with the unbeatable blue jeans and white shirt combo. I prefer the Coral Pink Fleck for daytime trips and the Coral Pink Twill strap for any evening plans and out for after work drinks.’

Emily:

’I have been wearing the Powder Blue Bum Bag with the Powder Blue Mosaic and Blue & Navy Viper straps. I love how versatile it is and use it daily for dog walks, as my bag for the office and for heading for a drink at the pub. If I could fit in them* I'd wear some blue denim jeans, a white shirt, a navy knitted vest and some blue trainers’.

Jude:

‘My favourite from the new collection most probably would be the Toffee City Plus with the Toffee Tribal strap, worn with what I am wearing today; black jeans, white t-shirt and toffee jumper. I would either wear the strap crossbody or wear it short as a shoulder strap for a more dressed up look.’

Rachel:

‘I absolutely love the Powder Blue City bag, I usually wear it with the Oatmeal Woven strap with casual blue jeans and a white tee for a neutral everyday look, and with the Coral Pink Fleck with a sundress for a pop of colour on warmer days.’

Olivia:

‘My current fave is the Oatmeal City with the Oatmeal Woven & Oatmeal and Grey Chevron straps. I'd wear it with leggings and a knitted white jumper paired with a long black coat. I’d prefer to wear it across my body so it’s comfortable for a day of running errands!’

Cleo:

‘I’m currently obsessed with the Mint Green City Mini and love it with the matching Mint Green Bobble and Mint Green Tapestry straps! I’d prefer to wear it with relaxed beige jeans, a white tank top, neutral cardigan and some cream trainers. For a dressier vibe, I would use the matching leather strap.’
