Is Pom Pom London legit? What to know before you buy

Short answer: yes. Pom Pom London is a real, UK-registered company that has been making leather bags since 2015, with more than 700,000 customers and a 4.8 out of 5 rating from over 17,500 independent Trustpilot reviews. Here is everything a careful shopper might want to check before buying.

Is Pom Pom London a legitimate company?

Yes. Pom Pom London Limited is a UK-registered company founded in 2015 by two friends, Ben and Harry, who have run businesses together since they were teenagers. The brand started with knitted hats (hence the name) and in 2020 pivoted to the product it is now known for: a compact full-grain leather crossbody bag with interchangeable straps. Today Pom Pom London ships to the UK, United States, Canada, Australia and Europe, and has a dedicated customer service team in both the UK and the US.

Are the reviews real?

Yes. Our reviews are collected and published by Trustpilot, an independent review platform that we do not control. At the time of writing we have over 17,500 reviews with a TrustScore of 4.8 out of 5, and 95% of reviewers give us five stars. You can read every single one, including the critical ones and our replies, at uk.trustpilot.com/review/pompomlondon.com. We have also put a selection on our customer reviews page.

What are the bags actually made of?

Our bags are made from full-grain leather, which is the top layer of the hide and the most durable grade. Every hide is inspected for texture and durability before it is cut, and the bags are finished with metal hardware (zips, clasps and buckles) and stitched by artisans with decades of experience. You can read more on our Making our bags page, and see how to look after yours in the Care Guide.

How much does a Pom Pom London bag cost?

Our core styles start at £94.95 for the Original and City crossbody bags and £124.95 for the larger Original Plus and City Plus. Every bag comes with two straps of your choice and a keyring included (worth £63 in the UK, $77 in the US), so you are not buying a bag and then paying extra to make it wearable. We also run offers around key dates such as Black Friday and Christmas; if you see a discount advertised, it is genuine and applied at checkout.

What is the "two free straps" thing?

Every Pom Pom London bag is designed around a simple idea: one bag, many looks. The strap clips on and off in seconds, so you choose two straps when you buy (leather, fabric, chain, patterned, plain) and can swap them depending on the day. Owners typically add more straps over time rather than buying another bag, which is why so many of our reviews come from repeat customers.

What if I do not like it, or something goes wrong?

You have 30 days to return or exchange, no questions asked, and for Christmas gifts we extend that so exchanges are accepted until 8 January 2027. Separately, every bag carries a 365-day warranty covering stitching, zips, metalwork and straps. If anything fails within a year of purchase, email hello@pompomlondon.com and we will repair or replace it. Full details are on the Delivery & Returns and 365 Day Warranty pages.

How do I contact a real person?

By email at hello@pompomlondon.com, by WhatsApp, or by phone to our UK or US team. The numbers are in the footer of every page and on our Contact page. Our team answer in person; there is no bot between you and a reply.

Where else can I see Pom Pom London?

Our bags are stocked by independent retailers in the UK and sold at events across the country. We have been featured in the Daily Express and MailOnline, and we have raised more than £91,000 for Breast Cancer Now through our charity collection. You can also find us on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

Who owns Pom Pom London?

Pom Pom London is owned and run by its two founders, Ben and Harry, who started the business together in 2015 and still run it day to day.

How does Pom Pom London compare to Katie Loxton, Radley or Accessorize?

The honest difference is that a Pom Pom London bag is built to be the only bag you need rather than one you replace next season. It is full-grain leather rather than faux leather or coated fabric, it comes with two straps rather than one, and it carries a 365-day warranty.
