    The City Slim is the flattest bag we make. At 23 x 16.5 x 3cm it has the City's face but barely any depth, so it sits flat against the body under a coat. It is built for phone, cards and keys, for any day you refuse to carry more than you need. Inside are a zip pocket and a slip pocket; a rolled top handle lets you carry it in the hand as well as on the adjustable leather strap, which extends to 125cm. Each is handcrafted in Full-grain Leather, lined in easy-clean fabric, with signature gold hardware.

    The bag alone comes in eighteen colours, from black, navy, chestnut, stone and maple to burnt rhubarb, chocolate plum, dark maroon, olive green, French lavender and purple nightshade, and there are bundles pairing it with a Chelsea card holder in black, metallic gold, mocha, olive, rose and slate blue. Prices start from £79.95. The City Mini is 18 x 12 x 5cm, so the Slim is the larger face with less depth: better for a long phone, while the Mini has more give for keys and a small purse.

    What fits in a City Slim bag?
    A phone, a card holder or a few cards, keys and a lipstick. At 23cm wide and 16.5cm high there is plenty of length for a phone, but at 3cm deep it is not designed for a full purse or glasses case; for those, the City at 23 x 16.5 x 7cm is the better fit.
    What is in the City Slim and card holder bundle?
    The bundle pairs the City Slim with a matching Chelsea card holder in the same full-grain leather, available in black, metallic gold, mocha, olive, rose and slate blue. The card holder is slim enough to sit inside the bag or be carried on its own.
    Does the City Slim have a handle as well as a strap?
    Yes. There is a rolled leather top handle for carrying it in the hand, plus the adjustable crossbody strap that extends to 125cm. The two free straps that come with the bag clip on and off in seconds.
